Be a TLC Lifeguard
I. BE A TLC LIFEGUARD IN YOUR CHURCH
- KEEP YOUR MEMBERS INFORMED. Texans for Life has
information available throughout the year of interest to your church
members. We rely on a church member to help get this information distributed.
- EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR CHURCH YOUTH.
Arrange with your youth minister for us to present a
one-hour pro-life/pro-chastity talk to your young people. This
fast-paced program is great fun, interactive and includes discussions,
demonstrations and handouts. Kids enjoy it and it changes lives.
- WALK FOR LIFE. The Walk is our major annual
fundraiser and benefits pro-life educational and compassion
ministries. Every spring, we depend on church members to promote
the walk in their church. We provide beautiful t-shirts, colorful
flyers and other support materials. This is a great way to help
educate your church members and have a wonderful time doing it.
II. IN YOUR COMMUNITY
- JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER SPEAKERS STAFF. Texans for Life is invited into many schools
throughout North Texas. We offer abstinence programs for 5th
through 12th grades. This is a fun, fast-paced, interactive
presentation that the kids really enjoy. Many of their letters attest
to the power of this program to change lives. We also offer
presentations on the developing baby and post-abortion syndrome.
Since this outreach is constantly expanding, we
always have a need for new speakers. No prior experience is
necessary, and we provide you with training through our speaker's
workshops, speech outlines, films and handouts.
- HELP SUPPORT OUR WORK. Make any sized donation and you will be helping
to put teachers in the classroom with our life-saving message, as well
as helping us keep this website available to the thousands of monthly
visitors from around the world. (click here for credit card
