What is a Christian's
responsibility under God, to the preborn, and the woman in
crisis?
- Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth...
And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an
accounting. I will demand an accounting from every
animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an
accounting for the life of his fellow man.
Genesis 9:1,5 (NIV)
- Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back
those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say,
"Surely we did not know this," Does not He who
weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul,
does He not know it? And will He not render to each man
according to his deeds?
Proverbs 24:11-12 (NKJ)
- Then the King will say to those at his right hand,
"Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I
was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you
gave me drink, I was a stranger to you and you welcomed
me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you
visited me, I was in prison and you came to me."
Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did
we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and gave
thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and
welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we
see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?" And the
King will answer them, "Truly, I say to you, as you
did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did
it to me."
Matthew 25:34-40 (RSV)
- And if you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the
desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in
darkness, and your gloom will become like midday.
Isaiah 58:10 (NAS)
- Let your light shine before men in such a way that they
may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is
in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (NAS)
- Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by
the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the
will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2 (RSV)
- For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for
good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should
walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 (RSV)
